Drawing on Canson paper with black felt-tip pen
By practicing, over and over again, I can now draw characters without reference. For me, that's a real achievement. I still have a long way to go, but I see the progress, and that motivates me to continue.
While making this drawing, I was thinking about my life, about how hard it can sometimes be. It was a moment of personal reflection, a moment when I just needed to be left alone to think, to swim in my ideas, in my imagination. Because that's where I heal my wounds.
My imagination is my world.
Drawing is my medium.
And creation is my strength.
